Our locationsWe provide a relaxed and neighbourly environment for all generations to socialise in over delicious, traditional patisserie goods.
Our locationsBefore moving to London, Heidi’s founder Ernst Strassman worked as a patissier in a luxury five star hotel and a selection of esteemed patisseries in Switzerland.
With moving to the UK came a position as Head Patissier at Fortnum & Mason, one of the most prestigious, upmarket department stores in the country.
In 1969, after enjoying success in the catering industry, Ernst decided to open his own patisserie named after his daughter, Heidi. Bringing together continental confectionary and traditional english recipes, Heidi’s quickly became a much loved part of the local community.
We proudly remain a family business today with Heidi at the helm, looking after the day to day affairs, supported by a passionate and dedicated team.
Our bakery on Hayling Island delivers delicious, fresh produce to nine patisseries throughout Hampshire, each with its own coffee shop.
We are currently providing takeaway at all of our Patisseries. Our Coffee Shops are open, but we are not offering our usual menu, however there is a wide range of delicious products available from the counter. Celebration cakes are also unavailable until further notice. If you want to visit us, please see our new opening hours. We apologise for any inconvenience.
